Travel through the air #3 on Valentine day

Since I started to play Padel about 6 months ago, I’ve been enjoying it a lot, discovering the thrilling combination of strategy and agility that the sport demands. Over the past two months, I’ve hosted small tournaments every week, which not only allowed me to improve my skills but also helped me build a wonderful community of fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion. These events have been a fantastic way to connect with others, foster competition, and create lasting friendships. I just recently got a chance to host the Valentine Padel on the 14th of February, which was particularly special as it brought together players in a festive atmosphere, complete with decorations and refreshments, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.

I got 18 couples to join the tournament, initially, I was only going to host 6 couples, but then I received so many inquiries to play that it inspired me to expand the event considerably. The enthusiasm surrounding the tournament was palpable, as friends and community members reached out, eager to participate and showcase their skills. This unexpected surge in interest allowed me to create a more vibrant and competitive atmosphere, ultimately extending the invitation to 18 couples, which has led to an exciting lineup of matches that promises to engage everyone involved.

As I have an experience joining a big tournament before, I vividly remember how we needed to wait for a long time to play each game. The organisers had managed to get everyone to come at the same time, but unfortunately, there were only four courts to host about 80 players, which created an overwhelming situation. The long wait times caused frustration among the participants, and I did not enjoy that tournament at all; it was so boring and tedious to just sit around without any action. Because of that experience, I was determined not to replicate the same issues in my tournament. I wanted to ensure that all players had a positive and engaging experience. To achieve this, I have thoughtfully arranged all the players to compete in groups of six couples, setting them up to play at different times based on their respective levels of Padel. This approach allows for smoother transitions between matches and ensures that everyone is active throughout the event, maximizing enjoyment and minimizing wait times. By fostering a competitive yet enjoyable atmosphere, I hope to create a memorable experience for all participants.

I can’t thank everyone enough who joined this special day, from the enthusiastic players to the supportive spectators who cheered us on. Their presence made the occasion truly memorable and heartwarming. I really look forward to hosting many more nice and fun Padel tournaments in the future, where we can create even more cherished memories, foster friendships, and continue to enjoy the beautiful game together.
